my voice.
AMP—I will call upon God, and the Lord will
save me. Evening and morning and at noon
will I utter my complaint and moan and sigh,
and He will hear my voice.
Moffatt—I call to God, and the Eternal helps
me; evening, morning, and at noon, I moan
and wail. He will hear my cry.

Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress,
and he hears my voice.
Psalm 108:5-6

heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;
that thy beloved may be delivered: save with
thy right hand, and answer me.
AMP—Be exalted, O God, above the heavens,
and let Your glory be over all the earth. That
Your beloved [followers] may be delivered, save
with Your right hand and answer us! [or me]!
Moffatt—Up, O God, high over heaven!
Up with thy glory over all the earth! To the
rescue of thy dear folk! Save by thy right hand,
answer our entreaty.

us and help us with your right hand, that those
you love may be delivered.
Psalm 145:18-20
KJV—The Lord is nigh unto all them that call

Moffatt—The Eternal is near all who call on
him, who call on him sincerely; he satisfies

them; the Eternal preserves all who love him.
NIV—The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the
desires of those who fear him; he hears their

it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it
cannot hear.

all, that it cannot save, nor His ear dull with
deafness, that it cannot hear.
Moffatt—The Eternal’s hand is not too short to
save, the Eternal’s ear is not too dull to hear!
NIV—The arm of the Lord is not too short to
save, nor his ear too dull to hear.

Kenneth Copeland — Never Alone, Part 2

Psalm 18:3
KJV—I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy
to be praised: so shall I be saved from
mine enemies.
AMP—I will call upon the Lord, Who is to be
praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.
Moffatt—The Eternal is to be praised!—I call
to him, and I am rescued from my foes.
NIV—I call to the Lord, who is worthy of praise,
and I am saved from my enemies.
Psalm 18:4-19
KJV—The sorrows of death compassed me,
and the floods of ungodly men made me
afraid. The sorrows of hell compassed me
about: the snares of death prevented me. In
my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried
unto my God: he heard my voice out of his
temple, and my cry came before him, even into
his ears. Then the earth shook and trembled;
the foundations also of the hills moved and
were shaken, because he was wroth. There
went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire
out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled
by it. He bowed the heavens also, and came
down: and darkness was under his feet. And
he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he
did fly upon the wings of the wind. He made
darkness his secret place; his pavilion round
about him were dark waters and thick clouds
of the skies. At the brightness that was before
him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and
coals of fire. The Lord also thundered in the
heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail
stones and coals of fire. Yea, he sent out his
arrows, and scattered them; and he shot
out lightnings, and discomfited them. Then
the channels of waters were seen, and the
foundations of the world were discovered at
thy rebuke, O Lord, at the blast of the breath
of thy nostrils. He sent from above, he took
me, he drew me out of many waters. He
delivered me from my strong enemy, and
from them which hated me: for they were too
strong for me. They prevented me in the day
of my calamity: but the Lord was my stay. He
brought me forth also into a large place; he
delivered me, because he delighted in me.
Psalm 31:1-2
KJV—O Lord...Bow down thine ear to me;
deliver me speedily.
AMP—O Lord...Bow down Your ear to me,
deliver me speedily!
Moffatt—O thou Eternal...Turn thine ear to
me, delay not to deliver me.
NIV—O Lord...Turn your ear to me, come
quickly to my rescue.
